Chain Cover: Disassembly

  1. Remove the oil filler cap.

  2. Remove the PCV hose assembly No. 1. Refer to EMISSION CONTROL (AUX. EMISSION CONTROL DEVICES) (EXCEPT FOR STI)>PCV HOSE ASSEMBLY>REPLACEMENT>PCV HOSE ASSY NO. 1 .
  3. Remove the oil pressure switch. Refer to LUBRICATION (EXCEPT FOR STI)>OIL PRESSURE SWITCH>REMOVAL .
  4. Remove the engine oil temperature sensor. Refer to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (EXCEPT FOR STI)>ENGINE OIL TEMPERATURE SENSOR>REMOVAL .
  5. Remove the oil control solenoid. Refer to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (EXCEPT FOR STI)>OIL CONTROL SOLENOID>REMOVAL .
  6. Remove the camshaft position sensor. Refer to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (EXCEPT FOR STI)>CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR>REMOVAL .
