Except For STI Model

  1. Remove the transmission assembly from the vehicle. Refer to MANUAL TRANSMISSION AND DIFFERENTIAL (6MT) (TY75)>MANUAL TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY>REMOVAL .
  2. Remove the dust cover.

  3. Remove the attachment point of lever spring by inserting a screwdriver through the clutch housing release lever hole. Then remove the release lever together with the release bearing.

  4. Separate the release lever and the release bearing.
