Extension Case: Removal

  1. Remove the transmission assembly from the vehicle. Refer to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR690)>AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY>REMOVAL .
  2. Remove the front wheel speed sensor. Refer to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR690)>FRONT WHEEL SPEED SENSOR>REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the rear wheel speed sensor. Refer to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR690)>REAR WHEEL SPEED SENSOR>REMOVAL .
  4. Remove the harness clip, and remove the extension case.
    NOTE: The total number of extension case mounting bolts is 10.
