Rain Sensor: Removal
CAUTION:
- Be careful not to damage the glass windshield and bracket.
- Replace the glass windshield if the bracket is damaged.
- Disconnect the ground cable from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY>GROUND TERMINAL REMOVAL OR INSTALLATION .
- Remove the stereo camera cover assembly. Ref. to EYESIGHT>STEREO CAMERA>REMOVAL .
- Disconnect the connector.
- Remove the sensor assembly rain.
Preparation tool:
A plate with the width of 10 mm (0.39 in) or more, thickness of 1 to 1.5 mm (0.04 to 0.06 in) or equivalent
- Insert the plate from the slit of the sensor assembly rain to release the lock of the bracket.
- Pull out the sensor assembly rain toward you, and remove it by sliding upwards.
