Data Communication Module
- Install the data communication module.NOTE: Align the positioning pin (a) of the data communication module with the positioning hole of the audio assembly or navigation assembly.
- Install the audio assembly or navigation assembly.
- Install the grille assembly - CTR ventilation.
- Connect the ground terminal to 12V engine restart battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY
.NOTE: For the hybrid model, connect the battery negative terminal.
- Perform the registration procedure and Bluetooth connection procedure if the data communication module is replaced with a new part.
- Registration procedure: Ref. to ENTERTAINMENT & MONITORING>TELEMATICS SYSTEM>OPERATION .
- Bluetooth connection procedure (audio without navigation): Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>Repair Contents>NOTE>Bluetooth CONNECTION PROCEDURE BETWEEN HEAD UNIT (AUDIO WITHOUT NAVIGATION) AND SMARTPHONE .
- Check the LED illumination status of the telematics button. Ref. to TELEMATICS SYSTEM (DIAGNOSTICS)>CHECK LIST FOR INTERVIEW>CHECK>LED ILLUMINATION STATUS LIST .
