Radiator Fan Relay: Inspection

  1. Check that there is no deformation, cracks or other damages.
  2. Check the resistance between terminals.
    • Main fan relay 1

      Terminal No. Inspection conditions Standard
      3 - 4 Always 1 MΩ or more
      3 - 4 Apply battery voltage between terminals 1 and 2. Less than 1 Ω
    • Main fan relay 2

      Terminal No. Inspection conditions Standard
      3 - 4 Always Less than 1 Ω
      3 - 5 Always 1 MΩ or more
      3 - 4 Apply battery voltage between terminals 1 and 2. 1 MΩ or more
      3 - 5 Apply battery voltage between terminals 1 and 2. Less than 1 Ω
    • Sub fan relay
