Hazard Switch: Inspection

Measure the resistance between connector terminals.

Terminal No.	Inspection conditions	Standard
5 - 16	Switch OFF	1 MΩ or more
5 - 16	Switch ON	Less than 1 Ω

Apply battery voltage between the connector terminals to check lighting condition of illumination inside the switch.

CAUTION: When applying battery voltage, do not mix up the positive (+) side and the negative (-) side.
Incorrect polarity connection may cause LED damage inside the switch.

Replace the switch assembly hazard if it is found defective.
