Seat Ventilation Control Module

CAUTION:

Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". Ref. to AIRBAG SYSTEM>General Description>CAUTION .
The load sensor of the occupant detection system is fixed to the cushion frame assembly. Never remove the load sensor from the cushion frame assembly. The following parts can be replaced as a single unit.
- Cushion pad
- Cushion cover
- Control module occupant detection system
- Seat harness
When the cushion frame assembly of the passenger's seat is replaced, the control module occupant detection system, seat harness and load sensor are assembled. When replacing the cushion frame assembly, do not touch the load sensor to avoid electrical damage.
When removing or replacing the seat, perform "Occupant Detection System Inspection" after installing the seat to check if the occupant detection system operates normally. Ref. to PRE-DELIVERY INSPECTION>PRE-DELIVERY INSPECTION (PDI) PROCEDURE>SEAT .

Disconnect the ground terminal from the battery sensor, and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
Remove the passenger's seat, Ref. to SEATS>Front Seat>REMOVAL .
Remove the rivets and remove the seat ventilation control module.
