Rear Gate Glass: Removal
- Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
- Remove the trim panel rear gate. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Rear Gate Trim>REMOVAL .
- Remove the motor assembly rear wiper. Ref. to WIPER AND WASHER SYSTEMS>Rear Wiper Motor>REMOVAL .
- Remove the roof spoiler. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Roof Spoiler>REMOVAL .
- Remove the smart rearview camera. Ref. to ENTERTAINMENT & MONITORING>Camera>REMOVAL>REAR>SMART REARVIEW CAMERA ASSEMBLY .
- Disconnect the radio antenna connector.
- Disconnect the rear defogger connector.
- Remove the glass rear gate in the same procedure as for the glass windshield. Ref. to GLASS/WINDOWS/MIRRORS>Windshield Glass>REMOVAL .
