Rear Regulator and Motor Assembly: Removal

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Remove the trim panel rear door. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Door Trim>REMOVAL>REAR DOOR .
  3. Remove the rear sealing cover. Ref. to EXTERIOR BODY PANELS>Sealing Cover>REMOVAL>REAR SEALING COVER .
  4. Remove the glass assembly rear door bolt and hold it at the upper end position.
    1. Install the switch assembly power window, and connect the ground terminal to the battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON, and operate the switch assembly power window to move the glass assembly rear door to the position where the mounting bolts can be seen.
    3. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
    4. Remove the mounting bolts for the glass assembly rear door, and remove the glass assembly rear door.
    CAUTION: Avoid impact and damage to the glass assembly rear door  .

  5. Remove the regulator and motor assembly rear.
    1. Disconnect the connector of the motor rear.
    2. Remove the bolts, and then remove the regulator and motor assembly rear.
