Air Intake Boot: Removal

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Remove the air cleaner case. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DOTC)>Air Cleaner Case>REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the under cover front. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Front Under Cover>REMOVAL .
  4. Disconnect the air intake boot from the intake duct No. 1.

  5. Remove turbo duct from the turbo duct bracket, and remove the turbo duct and the air intake boot from the upper side of the vehicle as one unit.

  6. Disconnect the turbo duct and the air intake boot.

  7. Remove the clips and turn over the front mud guard RH.

  8. Remove the cushion from the turbo duct bracket.

  9. Remove the turbo duct bracket.
