Radiator Fan System: Inspection: Notes

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
CAUTION:
  • Be careful not to let your hands or other objects get caught in the rotating parts.
  • Since some of the power supply circuits are shared with other system, check such system other than the radiator fan system for faulty conditions before proceeding any further.
  • Since more than one faulty conditions may occur simultaneously, once work is done perform "Basic Inspection of Radiator Fan System" to confirm that the system is working properly.
  • Since battery discharge may occur, charge the battery as necessary. Ref. to STARTING/CHARGING SYSTEMS (H4DO(HEV))>BATTERY>CHARGE .
  • Use the check board when measuring the ECM terminal voltage and resistance. Ref. to ENGINE (DIAGNOSTICS) (H4DO(HEV))>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>PREPARATION TOOL>HOW TO USE CHECK BOARD .
