Inspection Mode: Procedure

DTC can be diagnosed by executing the Inspection Mode. After correcting the DTC, perform a necessary inspection mode and make sure that the function is resumed correctly and the DTC is recorded.

1. Using the Subaru Select Monitor, perform the clear memory of [Infotainment]. Ref. to COMMON (DIAG)>CLEAR MEMORY .
2. Using the Subaru Select Monitor, read the DTC of [Infotainment] to check that there is no DTC displayed. Ref. to INFOTAINMENT (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .
   NOTE: If the DTC is displayed on the screen, the trouble is still present. Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTCs. After solving the DTC, repeat from step 1).
3. Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for 1 minute or more.
4. Using the Subaru Select Monitor, read the DTC of [Infotainment] to check that there is no DTC displayed. Ref. to INFOTAINMENT (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .
   NOTE: If the DTC is displayed on the screen, the trouble is still present. Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTCs.
