Headlight Assembly: Removal

CAUTION: Do not perform work with wet hands, because there is a possibility of electrical shock.
  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to GROUND TERMINAL REMOVAL OR INSTALLATION .
  2. Remove the air intake duct (rear). Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DO)>AIR INTAKE DUCT>REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the bumper face front. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>FRONT BUMPER>REMOVAL .
  4. Remove the bracket grille front.
    1. Remove the clips, and remove the bracket grille front.

  5. Remove the cover front fender UPR.
    1. Remove the clip, and remove the cover front fender UPR.

  6. Remove the access buzzer. (When the light assembly head on the left side is removed)

  7. Remove the bracket corner front.
    1. Remove the bolts, and remove the bracket corner front.

  8. Remove the light assembly head.
    CAUTION: Be careful not to damage the light assembly head and the fender COMPL front.
    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Remove the bolts and clips, and remove the light assembly head.
