Rear Combination Light Assembly: Removal

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to GROUND TERMINAL REMOVAL OR INSTALLATION .
  2. Remove the cover assembly rear combination light.
    1. Remove the clip.

    2. Release the hook by pressing the cover assembly rear combination light toward the front of the vehicle, and then remove the cover assembly rear combination light.

      CAUTION: Do not remove the cover forcibly if the cover is not unhooked. Doing so may result in damage of the cover claw or the light assembly rear combination.
  3. Remove the light assembly rear combination.
    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Release the bolts and clips, then pull out the light assembly rear combination to the rear of the vehicle as shown in the figure.
      CAUTION: Be careful not to damage the clips.

  4. Remove the cord assembly.
    1. Release the claws and remove the connector.
    2. Remove the harness cover and disconnect the connector.
    3. Release the turn bulb socket and remove the cord assembly.
