Rear Gate Glass: Removal

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to GROUND TERMINAL REMOVAL OR INSTALLATION .
  2. Remove the trim panel rear gate. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>REAR GATE TRIM>REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the motor assembly rear wiper. Ref. to WIPER AND WASHER SYSTEMS>REAR WIPER MOTOR>REMOVAL .
  4. Remove the roof spoiler. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>ROOF SPOILER>REMOVAL .
  5. Disconnect the rear defogger connector.
  6. Remove the glass rear gate in the same procedure as for the glass windshield. Ref. to GLASS/WINDOWS/MIRRORS>WINDSHIELD GLASS>REMOVAL .
