Driver Monitoring Unit: Removal

CAUTION:

Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". Ref. to AIRBAG SYSTEM>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .
When replacing the driver monitoring unit, perform the variant work. Ref. to DRIVER MONITOR (DIAGNOSTICS)>WORK SUPPORT>OPERATION .

Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to GROUND TERMINAL REMOVAL OR INSTALLATION .
Remove the grille ventilation assembly center. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER>AIR VENT GRILLE>REMOVAL>CENTER GRILLE .
Remove the panel center UPR, and remove the audio assembly or navigation assembly. Ref. to ENTERTAINMENT AND MONITORING>AUDIO>REMOVAL .
Remove the multi-function display. Ref. to INSTRUMENTATION/DRIVER INFO>Multi-function Display (MFD)>REMOVAL .

Remove the driver monitoring unit.

CAUTION: Be careful not to damage the driver monitoring unit.

Disconnect the claws and then remove the panel display LWR.
