Active Grille Shutter: Removal

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to GROUND TERMINAL REMOVAL OR INSTALLATION .
  2. Remove the bumper face front. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>FRONT BUMPER>REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the under cover front. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>FRONT UNDER COVER>REMOVAL .
  4. Disconnect the connector from ambient sensor.

  5. Disconnect the connector from the active grille shutter actuator.

  6. Remove the active grille shutter and the bracket active grille shutter front as a unit.

  7. Remove the clip and remove the active grille shutter from the bracket active grille shutter front.

  8. Remove the clip (A) to remove the ambient sensor.
