Front Seat: Installation

CAUTION: Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". Ref. to AIRBAG SYSTEM>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .

Bring the front seat inside the vehicle.
Connect the connectors located under the front seat.
Install the seat assembly.
CAUTION:
- Tighten the slide rail assembly installing bolts in the order as shown in the figure, in several steps by gradually increasing the torque until they reach the specified torque.

- Before installing the bolt cover, check the cover inside. If deformed or damaged, replace the bolt cover with a new one. Incorrect installation of the bolt cover may result in detachment while driving the vehicle.
Tightening torque:

53 N.m (5.4 kgf-m, 39.1 ft-lb)
Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
Install the headrest assembly.
Regarding the front seat (passenger's seat), perform [Rezeroing] for the occupant detection system. Ref. to AIRBAG (DIAGNOSTICS)>REZERO .
Regarding the front seat (passenger's seat), perform "Occupant Detection System Inspection" to check if the occupant detection system operates normally. Ref. to PRE-DELIVERY INSPECTION>PRE-DELIVERY INSPECTION (PDI) PROCEDURE>SEAT .
For model with door mirror interlocked seat position memory, initialize the seat position memory control module. Ref. to SEATS>POWER SEAT SYSTEM>ADJUSTMENT .
