System Block Diagram
- Ventilation control and status display
The seat ventilation is controlled and activated by the seat ventilation control module based on the vehicle information and sensor values obtained using CAN communication. Also, operation information is output through CAN to display the status on the center information display.
- Flow of seat ventilation control
The seat ventilation control module sends operation status to the cockpit control module, when receiving seat ventilation switch signals from the cockpit control module. When operation signals are received, switching occurs as HIGH - MID - LOW - OFF - HIGH - In addition, if the heater is operating, the heater is switched to OFF when the seat ventilation switch signals are received from the cockpit control module.
- Flow of seat heater operation instructions *Heater operation is performed by A/C control module.
The seat ventilation control module sends operation status to the cockpit control module and A/C control module, when receiving seat heater switch signals from the cockpit control module. (The seat heater is operated by A/C control module based on the signals from the seat ventilation control module) In addition, if the blower is operating, the seat ventilation control module turns the blower operation to OFF.
- Condition for EX-HIGH operation *Not applicable for active test
Seat ventilation control module receives EX-HI signals from A/C control module, when the air flow from vehicle air conditioner is close to Max. When EX-HI signals are received while the seat ventilation is operated at HIGH, the seat ventilation is operated at EX-HIGH (air flow higher than HIGH). In this case, the display of cockpit control module remains as HIGH.
