Active Grille Shutter: Installation

  1. Install the ambient sensor.

  2. Install the active grille shutter.

    Tightening torque: 

    7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)

  3. Connect the connector to the active grille shutter actuator.

  4. Connect the connector to the ambient sensor.

  5. Install the bumper face front. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>FRONT BUMPER>INSTALLATION .
  6. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  7. When the active grille shutter has been replaced, perform the calibration (execute the system operation check for ACTGS control). Ref. to ENGINE (DIAGNOSTICS) (H4DO)>ACTIVE TEST .
