Front Exhaust Pipe: Removal

CAUTION: Vehicle components are extremely hot immediately after driving. Be wary of receiving burns from heated parts.
  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Remove the crossmember support rear LH. Ref. to FRONT SUSPENSION>CROSSMEMBER SUPPORT>REMOVAL .
  3. Disconnect the front oxygen (A/F) sensor connector (A), rear oxygen sensor connector (B) and the ground cord (C).

  4. Separate the front exhaust pipe and rear exhaust pipe.
    NOTE: Suspend the rear exhaust pipe with rope etc.

  5. Remove the bolt which holds front exhaust pipe to hanger bracket.

  6. Remove the front exhaust pipe.
CAUTION: The front exhaust pipe is very heavy. Be careful not to drop it when removing.
