Transmission Harness: Removal

- Remove the transmission body. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR690)>TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY>REMOVAL .
- Remove the ground cord and stay.
- Disconnect the ground terminal, and disconnect the connectors from the secondary speed sensor and front wheel speed sensor.
- Disconnect the ground terminal, and remove the electric oil pump cover.
- Disconnect the ground terminal, and disconnect the connectors from the primary speed sensor, secondary pressure sensor, inhibitor switch and electric oil pump.
- Remove the torque converter. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR690)>TORQUE CONVERTER>REMOVAL .
- Install the ST and place the transmission body.NOTE:
- When attaching the ST to the (a) positions, spacers or similar of 2.0 mm (0.08 in) or more in thickness are necessary.
- Prepare a container for draining of oil, because CVTF remaining inside the transmission body may flow out from the input shaft portion.
Preparation tool:
ST: STAND ASSY (18632AA000)
- Remove the control valve body. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR690)>CONTROL VALVE BODY>REMOVAL .
- Remove the bolt securing the transmission harness.
- Remove all clips and remove the transmission harness.
- Remove the O-rings.
