Inspection Mode 8

DTC Item Note
U1500 KEYLESS UART COM. MALFUNCTION -

Diagnostic procedure:

  1. Perform the Clear Memory Mode. Refer to BODY CONTROL SYSTEM (DIAGNOSTICS)>CLEAR MEMORY MODE .
  2. Read the DTC and check that the DTC is not displayed. Refer to BODY CONTROL SYSTEM (DIAGNOSTICS)>READ DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .
    NOTE: If the DTC is displayed on the screen, the trouble is still present. Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTCs. After solving the DTC, repeat from step 1).
  3. Disconnect and reconnect the battery and wait for one minute or more. Then turn the ignition switch OFF → ON and wait for 10 seconds or more.
  4. Read the DTC and check that the DTC is not displayed. Refer to BODY CONTROL SYSTEM (DIAGNOSTICS)>READ DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .
    NOTE: If the DTC is displayed on the screen, the trouble is still present. Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTCs.
