Section 31 (M/T Clutch System): Flywheel: Removal

CAUTION:
Do not wash the pilot bearing since it is filled with grease.
- Remove the transmission body. Ref. to MANUAL TRANSMISSION AND DIFFERENTIAL (TY75)>TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY>REMOVAL
- Remove the clutch cover and clutch disc. Ref. to CLUTCH SYSTEM>CLUTCH DISC AND COVER>REMOVAL
- Using the ST, fasten the flywheel.NOTE:
Use bolts with M8 x P1.25 and a bolt length of approx. 15 mm for securing ST and the flywheel.
Preparation tool:
ST: CRANKSHAFT STOPPER (498497100)
- Remove the flywheel and crankshaft position sensor plate.
- Remove ST (CRANKSHAFT STOPPER).
- Drive out the pilot bearing.NOTE:
Perform this procedure only when required.
