Power Rear Gate Drive Unit: Installation

Install the power rear gate drive unit.
NOTE:
- The power rear gate stay is installed on the LH side. For operation procedures, refer to the procedures for power rear gate drive unit RH.
- Align the alignment mark on the body side with the arrow on the grommet side.
Tightening torque:

16 N.m (1.6 kgf-m, 11.4 ft-lb)
Install the trim panel assembly D pillar RH. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Rear Quarter Trim>INSTALLATION .
Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
