Section 8 (Starting System & Charging System): Generator: Installation

- Temporarily install the generator.
- Tighten the bolts in the numerical order as shown in the figure.
Tightening torque:
25 N.m (2.5 kgf-m, 18.4 ft-lb)
- Connect the connector and terminal B.
Tightening torque:
15.5 N.m (1.6 kgf-m, 11.4 ft-lb)
- Install the V-belts. Ref. to MECHANICAL (H4DOTC)>V-belt>INSTALLATION .
- Install the air intake duct. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DOTC)>Air Intake Duct>INSTALLATION .
- Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
