Oil Pan: Installation

Install a new O-ring.
NOTE: Apply ATF to the O-ring.

Install the oil strainer.
Tightening torque:

10 N.m (1.0 kgf-m, 7.4 ft-lb)

Install magnet (A) at the locations shown in the figure.

Use a new gasket to temporarily attach the oil pan.

Evenly tighten the bolts which hold the oil pan.
Tightening torque:

7 N.m (0.7 kgf-m, 5.2 ft-lb)
Install the center exhaust pipe. Ref. to EXHAUST (H4DO)>CENTER EXHAUST PIPE>INSTALLATION .
Fill ATF. Ref. to AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION>AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID>INSPECTION>FILL ATF .
