Front Bearing Retainer: Installation

Apply liquid gasket to the mating surface of the front bearing retainer as shown in the figure.
NOTE:
- Before applying liquid gasket, degrease the liquid gasket seal surfaces of the clutch housing and front bearing retainer.
- Install within 10 min. after applying liquid gasket.
Preparation items:

Liquid gasket: THREE BOND 1281 or equivalent

Install the front bearing retainer.
CAUTION: Always use a new bolt.

Tightening torque:

17 N.m (1.7 kgf-m, 12.5 ft-lb)
