Backup Unit: Installation

  1. Install the backup unit.

    Tightening torque: 

    7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)

  2. Install the tray center UPR together with the duct console front as a unit. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>CENTER CONSOLE>INSTALLATION .
  3. Install the duct console center. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER>AIR VENT DUCT>INSTALLATION>CONSOLE DUCT .
  4. Install the cover center side. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>CENTER CONSOLE>INSTALLATION .
  5. Install the cover assembly front and the console box assembly. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>CONSOLE BOX>INSTALLATION .
  6. Install the heater control panel assembly. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER>CONTROL PANEL>INSTALLATION .
  7. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
