Extension Case: Assembly

Install the plugs with new O-rings.
Tightening torque:

25 N.m (2.5 kgf-m, 18.4 ft-lb)

Install a new extension case oil seal. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR690)>EXTENSION CASE OIL SEAL>REPLACEMENT
Install a new ball bearing and pressure plate to the transfer clutch piston.

Install a new D-ring and O-ring.
NOTE:
Apply CVTF to the D-ring and O-ring.

Install the transfer clutch piston to the extension case.
NOTE:
Align the straight pin position.

Install the spring retainer, return spring and clutch spring retainer.

Using the ST and a press, install the snap ring.

ST: COMPRESSOR SPECIAL TOOL (18762AA001)

Install the dust cover.
