When Using Cleaning Tools

CAUTION: Be careful not to stain the stereo camera lens or impact and damage it.
  1. Remove the cover assembly stereo camera. Ref. to EYESIGHT>STEREO CAMERA>REMOVAL .
  2. Remove the lens hood. Ref. to EYESIGHT>LENS HOOD>REMOVAL>STEREO CAMERA .
  3. Clean the windshield glass.
    1. Install ST on the stereo camera.

      Preparation tool:

      ST: TOOL ADA COVER (87599VC000)

      1.  Align the ST pivot axis with the stereo camera pivot axis.

      2.  Turn ST in the arrow direction so that it is level.

      NOTE: Turn ST until its stopper comes in contact with the stereo camera unit.

      3.  Secure the stereo camera and ST with masking tape.

      CAUTION: Do not touch the camera lens. If touched, replace the stereo camera.
    2. Clean the windshield glass.

      1.  Wrap the tip of the remover, etc. with a dry clean cloth.

      2.  Put it between the windshield glass and ST for cleaning.

      NOTE: Clean the area shown in the figure.

    3. Remove the masking tape, and remove ST from the stereo camera.
      CAUTION: Do not touch the camera lens. If touched, replace the stereo camera.
  4. Install the lens hood. Ref. to EYESIGHT>LENS HOOD>INSTALLATION > STEREO CAMERA  .
  5. Install the cover assembly stereo camera. Ref. to EYESIGHT>STEREO CAMERA>INSTALLATION .
