Cockpit Display: Installation

CAUTION: Before handling the airbag system components, always refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". Ref. to AIRBAG SYSTEM>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .
  1. Install the cockpit control module. Ref. to ENTERTAINMENT & MONITORING>COCKPIT DISPLAY>ASSEMBLY .
  2. Install the data communication module. (Model with telematics) Ref. to ENTERTAINMENT & MONITORING>DATA COMMUNICATION MODULE>INSTALLATION>DATA COMMUNICATION MODULE .
  3. Connect each connector, and install the center information display assembly.

    Tightening torque: 

    7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)

  4. Install the panel center UPR assembly and cover assembly instrument panel side RH. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER>CONTROL PANEL>INSTALLATION .
  5. Install the cover LWR driver INN. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>INSTRUMENT PANEL LOWER COVER>INSTALLATION>INSIDE .
  6. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
