Body Integrated Unit: Installation
CAUTION:
Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". Ref. to AIRBAG SYSTEM>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION
.
- Install the body integrated unit.
- Connect each connector, and install the F/B.
Tightening torque:
7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)
- Install the cover LWR driver OUT. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>INSTRUMENT PANEL LOWER COVER>INSTALLATION>OUTSIDE .
- Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
- When the body integrated unit has been replaced, set the current settings as recorded. Ref. to BODY CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>REGISTRATION BODY INTEGRATED UNIT>OPERATION>REGISTRATION BODY INTEGRATED UNIT (FUNCTION SETTING) .
