Front Hood Lock Assembly: Removal

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Remove the air intake duct.
  3. Remove the clips, and remove the cover UPR front.

  4. Remove the bolts and remove the radiator upper bracket.

  5. Remove the lock assembly front hood.
    1. Remove the connector and connector clip.
    2. Remove the harness clips, nuts and clips, and remove the lock assembly front hood.
      NOTE: Push the condenser assembly and radiator toward the engine side to secure working space, then pull out the lock assembly front hood through the clearance.

    3. Remove the cable assembly front hood from the guide.
