Cockpit Display: Removal

  1. When replacing the cockpit control module, store the [Cockpit Control] customizing information. Ref. to COMMON (DIAGNOSTICS)>Customize>OPERATION > Save settings / Read settings
  2. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  3. Remove the grille ventilation assembly center. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER>AIR VENT GRILLE>REMOVAL>CENTER GRILLE ASSEMBLY .
  4. Remove the grille speaker assembly CTR. Ref. to ENTERTAINMENT & MONITORING>Front Speaker>REMOVAL > CENTER 
  5. Remove the center information display assembly.
    1. Remove the bolt and release the clip.

    2. Disconnect the connectors, and then remove the center information display assembly.
  6. Remove the backup unit assembly. Ref. to SECURITY AND LOCKS>BACKUP UNIT>REMOVAL .
  7. Remove the multiview control assembly. Ref. to ENTERTAINMENT & MONITORING>CONTROL UNIT>REMOVAL .
  8. Remove the data communication module. (Model with telematics) Ref. to ENTERTAINMENT & MONITORING>DATA COMMUNICATION MODULE>REMOVAL>DATA COMMUNICATION MODULE .
  9. Remove the cockpit control module. Ref. to ENTERTAINMENT & MONITORING>COCKPIT DISPLAY>DISASSEMBLY .
