Arm Front Rear Bushing Assembly

  1. Before installation, inspect the following items and replace any faulty part with a new one.
    • Check the arm assembly front for damage or cracks.
    • Visually check the bushing for abnormal cracks, fatigue or damage.
    • Visually check the boot on the ball joint COMPL for damage.
  2. Install the arm front rear bushing assembly to the arm assembly front.
    CAUTION: Confirm the installing direction and install securely.
    1. Install the spacer arm (a) and the stopper rubber arm (b).

    2. Install the arm front rear bushing assembly so that protrusion (a) faces the rear side of the vehicle.

    3. Install the stopper rubber arm (c) and the plate arm front (d).

    4. Using new self-locking nuts, install the arm front rear bushing assembly to the arm assembly front by matching the alignment marks that have been marked when removing.

      Tightening torque: 

      140 N.m (14.3 kgf-m, 103.3 ft-lb)

      • Arm assembly front replacement: align the cutout portion of the arm assembly front with the alignment mark (a) of the arm front rear bushing assembly.

      • Arm front rear bushing assembly replacement: align the imaginary line extending from the rib portion of the arm front rear bushing assembly with the alignment mark (b) on the arm assembly front.
