| Activate the Solenoid (S1) |
Forcibly operate the shift solenoid A (S1), and check if the solenoid operates by listening to the operating sound. |
ON ←→> OFF |
- Engine speed: More than 0 rpm
- Except for P, N range
- Vehicle speed: More than 0 km/h
- When electronic throttle control and accelerator pedal position sensor are faulty
- When output revolution sensor is faulty
- When turbine speed sensor is faulty
- When solenoid is faulty

| Activate the Solenoid (S2) |
Forcibly operate the shift solenoid B (S2), and check if the solenoid operates by listening to the operating sound. |
ON ←→> OFF |
| Activate the Solenoid (S3) |
Forcibly operate the shift solenoid C (S3), and check if the solenoid operates by listening to the operating sound. |
ON ←→> OFF |
| Activate the Solenoid (S4) |
Forcibly operate the shift solenoid D (S4), and check if the solenoid operates by listening to the operating sound. |
ON ←→> OFF |
| Activate the Solenoid (SR) |
Forcibly operate the shift solenoid E (SR), and check if the solenoid operates by listening to the operating sound. |
ON ←→> OFF |
| Activate the Solenoid (SL1) |
Forcibly operate the pressure solenoid A (SL1), and check if the solenoid operates by listening to the operating sound. |
ON ←→> OFF |

Forcibly operate the torque converter clutch pressure solenoid (SLU), and check if the solenoid operates by listening to the operating sound. |
ON ←→> OFF |
| Control the Shift Position |
Forcibly operate each shifting solenoid, and command the gear range from 1st - 6th. Check if the shifting command is executed by listening to the operating sound. |
1st/2nd/3rd/4th/5th/6th |
- Vehicle speed: 50 km/h or more
- Except for D range
- When electronic throttle control and accelerator pedal position sensor are faulty
- When output revolution sensor is faulty
- When turbine speed sensor is faulty
- When solenoid is faulty
- When all of the following conditions are established
- Shift position and shifting command are the 5th or higher
- Shift position and shifting command do not match
|
| Activate the Lock Up |
Forcibly operate the torque converter clutch pressure solenoid (SLU). Judge if it is a lock-up state by data monitor. |
ON ←→ OFF |
- Throttle opening angle: More than 35%
- Vehicle speed: Less than 50 km/h
