Accumulator Piston
- Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
- Remove the control valve body. Ref. to AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION>CONTROL VALVE BODY>REMOVAL>CONTROL VALVE BODY .
- Remove the C2 accumulator piston.
- Apply compressed air to the hole shown in the figure.CAUTION: Be careful not to let the B3 and C3 accumulator pistons pop out.
- Remove the C2 accumulator piston (A), spring (B), and O-ring (C).
- Using a flat tip screwdriver wrapped with protection tape, remove the snap ring and the spring.CAUTION: Be careful not to damage the C2 accumulator piston.NOTE: Perform this procedure only when required.
(A) Snap ring (B) Spring (C) C2 accumulator piston - Apply compressed air to the hole shown in the figure.
- Remove the B3 accumulator piston.
- Apply compressed air to the hole shown in the figure.CAUTION: Be careful not to let the C3 accumulator piston pop out.
- Remove the B3 accumulator piston (A), spring (B), and O-ring (C).
- Using a flat tip screwdriver wrapped with protection tape, remove the snap ring and the spring.CAUTION: Be careful not to damage the B3 accumulator piston.NOTE: Perform this procedure only when required.

- Remove the C3 accumulator piston.
- Apply compressed air to the hole shown in the figure.
- Remove the C3 accumulator piston (A), spring (B), spring (C), and O-ring (D).
- Apply compressed air to the hole shown in the figure.
- Remove the B1 accumulator valve (A) and spring (B).
