Accumulator Piston

Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
Remove the control valve body. Ref. to AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION>CONTROL VALVE BODY>REMOVAL>CONTROL VALVE BODY .

Remove the C2 accumulator piston.

Apply compressed air to the hole shown in the figure.

CAUTION: Be careful not to let the B3 and C3 accumulator pistons pop out.

Remove the C2 accumulator piston (A), spring (B), and O-ring (C).

Using a flat tip screwdriver wrapped with protection tape, remove the snap ring and the spring.
CAUTION: Be careful not to damage the C2 accumulator piston.

NOTE: Perform this procedure only when required.

Remove the B3 accumulator piston.

Apply compressed air to the hole shown in the figure.

CAUTION: Be careful not to let the C3 accumulator piston pop out.

Remove the B3 accumulator piston (A), spring (B), and O-ring (C).
