Procedure B

NOTE: For initialization for the passenger's seat, this can be done with the driver's side power window switch, or passenger's side power window switch.
  1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
  2. Using the Subaru Select Monitor, perform [System Initialization] in [Work Support] of [Power Window (Driver)] or [Power Window (Passenger)]. Ref. to POWER WINDOW (DIAGNOSTICS)>WORK SUPPORT .
  3. Operate the driver's side or passenger's side power window switch and hold the manual down operation, or hold the automatic down operation to fully open the relevant window. Continuously from that point, hold the switch for longer than one second.
    NOTE: Wherever the glass is at any position, operate the switch in "DOWN" direction.
  4. Operate the driver's side or passenger's side power window switch and hold the automatic up operation to fully close the relevant window. Continuously from that point, hold the switch for longer than one second.
    NOTE: At this time, do not move the vehicle.
  5. Perform the automatic down operation with the driver's side or passenger's side power window switch to check whether the window fully opens properly. Also, perform the automatic up operation to check whether the window fully closes properly.
    NOTE: If the window does not fully open/close properly, repeat steps  1 to  4.
