All Functions Do Not Operate
Wiring diagram:
Power seat system Ref. to WIRING SYSTEM>POWER SEAT SYSTEM>WIRING DIAGRAM .
- CHECK SEAT FUNCTIONS
.
Operate each power seat switch and check that each power seat function operates normally.
Does all function fail to operate?
Yes: GO TO 2.
No: Check the motor which does not operate. Ref. to SEATS>POWER SEAT SYSTEM>INSPECTION>A PART OF FUNCTION DOES NOT OPERATE .
- CHECK FUSE
.
- Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
- Check the power seat fuse inside the fuse box. Ref. to SEATS>RELAY AND FUSE>INSPECTION>CHECK FUSE .
Is the fuse blown out?
Yes: Replace the appropriate fuse.
No: GO TO 3.
- CHECK CIRCUIT BREAKER
.
- Remove the circuit breaker. Ref. to SEATS>RELAY AND FUSE>REMOVAL>CIRCUIT BREAKER .
- Check the circuit breaker. Ref. to SEATS>RELAY AND FUSE>INSPECTION>CHECK CIRCUIT BREAKER .
Is the circuit breaker normal?
Yes: GO TO 4.
No: Replace the circuit breaker.
- CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
.
- Disconnect the power seat connector.
- Measure the voltage between harness connector and chassis ground.
Connector & terminal
(L57) No. 1 (+) - Chassis ground (-):
Is the voltage 10 V or more?
Yes: GO TO 5.
No: Repair or replace the defective part.
- CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT
.
Measure the resistance between power seat harness connector and chassis ground.
Connector & terminal
(L57) No. 4 - Chassis ground:
Is the resistance less than 1 Ω?
Yes GO TO 6
No: Repair or replace the defective part.
- CHECK HARNESS
.
Measure the resistance between power seat harness connectors.

Is the resistance less than 1 Ω?
Yes: Replace the power seat switch assembly. Ref. to SEATS>POWER SEAT .
No: Repair or replace the defective part.
