EFI Main Relay

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Detach main fuse box from body and remove main relay from fuse box and disengage wire harness connector. See Fig 1 . Check resistance between Black/White wire relay terminal and White/Black wire relay terminal. If resistance is not 56-84 ohms, replace main relay.
  2. Apply battery voltage to Black/White wire terminal of relay. Apply ground to White/Black wire terminal of relay. Using an ohmmeter, check continuity between White/Blue and White/Red wire terminals of relay. If continuity does not exist, replace relay. Continuity should only exist while relay is energized.
