Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor
Remove sensor from intake manifold and place in water with a thermometer. Heat water to specified temperature and check resistance. See the ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE (ECT) SENSOR RESISTANCE table. Replace sensor if resistance is not within specification.
