Activating System
- Ensure ignition switch is in LOCK position and AIR BAG fuse is removed. Ensure all air bag system components are correctly installed.
- Connect passenger side inflator module harness connector. Connect driver side inflator module harness connector. Ensure connector lock lever is engaged.
- Install glove box and steering wheel access cover. Re-install AIR BAG fuse to original location. Turn ignition on. Verify AIR BAG warning light flashes 7 times (6 times on Esteem) then goes out. If warning light does not operate as described, perform air bag system check. See AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEM.
