Cruise Control Module Power & Ground Circuits Check

  1. Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect Cruise Control Electronic Control Unit (CC ECU) harness connector. Check voltage between CC ECU harness connector terminals No. 11 (Black wire) and No. 12 (Red/Black on Esteem; Blue/Black on Grand Vitara and Vitara). See Figure .
  2. Turn ignition on. If 10-14 volts exists, power and ground circuits are okay. If 10-14 volts does not exist, repair open or short in Red/Black, Blue/Black or Black wire. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
