Engine Control Module Replacement

When substituting a known-good ECM, check for following conditions. Neglecting this check may cause damage to a known-good ECM.
- Resistance value of all relays and actuators. See SENSOR OPERATING RANGE CHARTS article.
- MAP sensor, TP sensor and Fuel Tank Pressure (FTP) sensor are in good condition, and power and ground circuits of these sensors are not shorted.
