Transmission Control Module (TCM) Removal and Installation: Removal

- Disconnect negative cable at battery.
- If the vehicle is equipped with air bag system, disable air bag system. Refer to EXCEPT ADVANCED AIR BAG .
- Remove glove box.
- Disconnect connectors from TCM (1).
- Remove TCM by removing its nuts.
