Circuit/System Verification

- Program the VIN information to the body control module (BCM).
- Turn the ignition OFF, wait several seconds and then turn the ignition ON.
- Retrieve DTCs from the BCM. DTC B1016 should change to a history DTC.
- If this DTC is retrieved as a current DTC, replace the module that set the DTC.
