Camera - Rear View - Remove And Replace: Removal
WARNING:
Whenever a camera has been moved out of its original position (for example, a camera or windshield replacement), camera calibration data must be cleared using the vehicle touchscreen: Controls > Service > Camera Calibration > Clear Calibration
.
- Remove the tailgate lower finisher Finisher - Liftgate - Rear Window - Lower (Remove And Replace) .
- Disconnect the rear camera electrical connector.
- Remove the liftgate applique Applique - Liftgate (Remove And Replace) .
- Remove the screws (x3) that secure the rear applique carrier to the tailgate (torque 2.4 N.m).
- Remove the rear applique carrier.
- Remove the screws (x2) that attach the camera to the rear applique carrier (torque 2.4 N.m).
- Release the grommet from the tailgate opening.
- Remove the camera assembly from the vehicle.
