Sensor - Shotgun Accelerometer - LH - Remove And Replace: Install
- Using the datum on the sensor as a guide for installation location on the body, install the bolt that attaches the shotgun accelerometer sensor to the vehicle.
10 N.m (7.4 ft-lbs)
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket
- 1/4 in std ratchet
- 1/4 in torque wrench (installation)
- Connect the electrical connector to the shotgun accelerometer sensor and then push in the tab to make sure it is fully connected.CAUTION: Make sure the connection is fully secure and that the tab is pushed in.
- Install the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Replace) .
- Connect 12V power. See 12V/LV Power (Disconnect and Connect) .
